How to Make Your Home Smell Like Spring
March 19, 2019Spring is right around the corner, but thanks to these homemade air fresheners you don’t have to wait to get your home smelling like a fresh garden bursting with herby, citrusy goodness.
After a long winter cooped up inside cooking hearty soups, stews, and roasts, your kitchen may smell a bit, ahem, interesting. Now’s as good a time as any to hit refresh on your cooking routine, giving the most important room in your house some love with these homemade air fresheners.
What you’ll need:
First things first, glass jars. Then come the aromatics (more on that below).
How to do it:
Add the ingredients to glass jars, then fill them up to the brim with warm water and voilà! The fresh and slightly sweet scent will linger pleasantly in the room.
Looking to amp up the aroma even more? Combine the ingredients with water in a pan rather than a glass jar. Bring the ingredients boil, then lower to a simmer. Be careful not to let all the water evaporate. Once it does, your fruity goodness can easily burn.
Cost-saving tip:
Citrus rinds work just as well as the whole fruit. So the next time you snack on an orange or jazz up your water with lemon juice, keep the rinds and store them in the fridge until ready to use.

I fully agree with this above comment, the internet is with a doubt growing in the most fundamental medium of communication across the globe and its due to sites just like this that ideas are spreading so quickly.
