3 Homemade Juice Recipes for Spring

    Fresh homemade juice is a really easy way to pack a whole host of wholesome ingredients into a single glass. It’s unlikely to expect that we’d eat 5 carrots in one day, but a glass of carrot juice would easily use this amount, meaning your body can harness and use the benefits from 5 carrots with one simple glass of juice.

    So instead of reaching for store-bought orange juice, may we suggest giving one of our homemade juice recipes a try? Packed with benefits and easy to make, plus the flavour is levels above store-bought.

    Carrot Orange Juice Recipe

    Packed with colourful fruits and vegetables, this vibrant carrot orange juice recipe is not only delicious but packed with antioxidants. Antioxidants are found in brightly coloured fruits and vegetables, so rest assured you’re doing something great for your body when consuming colourful ingredients. This blend of carrot, apple, ginger, orange, basil, and turmeric come together in a delicious medley of vibrant flavours.

    To make this recipe juice or blend 1 carrot, 1 red apple, 1 small knob ginger, 1 orange, 3 leaves basil and 1 small knob turmeric. If you’re using a blender then you will also have to add a little bit of water before blending. Then strain the blended juice through a sieve or cheesecloth if you don’t want pulp.

    Both spinach and apples are rich in B Vitamins, which are crucial for energy production. Spinach is also high in iron, which helps maintain energy levels. This vibrant blend is chlorophyll-rich, meaning it’s highly alkalising, full of iron and will help to stabilize blood sugar levels.

    To make this recipe juice or blend 1 handful lettuce, 1 stalk celery, 2 leaves cabbage, 1 handful baby spinach, 1/2 green apple, 1 small bunch green grapes. If you’re using a blender then you will also have to add a little bit of water before blending. Then strain the blended juice through a sieve or cheesecloth if you don’t want pulp.

    Drop the Beet Juice Recipe

    In this juice, parsley acts as natural diuretics that help to flush out excess water from the colon and reduce bloating. Beetroot and raspberry act as an antioxidant, while watermelon and apple juice simply sweetens the deal!

    To make this recipe juice or blend half a beetroot, handful raspberries, 1 sprig parsley (leaves removed), half red apple, 1 slice watermelon. If you’re using a blender then you will also have to add a little bit of water before blending. Then strain the blended juice through a sieve or cheesecloth if you don’t want pulp.
