4 Easy Egg Recipes To Make For Kids This Halloween

Pumpkin Deviled Eggs
A sprinkle of paprika, a slicer of chive, and a big imagination is all you need to transform ordinary deviled eggs into cute little pumpins!
Ingredients:
- 6 Hard-Boiled Eggs
- 1/4 Cup Mayo
- 2 Tablespoons Mustard
- 1 Teaspoon Paprika
- Pinch Salt and Pepper
- Chives, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
Instructions:
- Cut boiled eggs in half lengthwise and remove yolks.
- Mash yolks with mayo, mustard, and paprika. Season with salt and pepper.
- Put yolk filling in a plastic bag and make a small cut in the corner.
- Filled each egg white with yolk mixture. Sprinkle with additional paprika and carefully add a chive to serve as the pumpkin’s stem.
Eyeball Eggs
You’ll never “look” at a sunny-side up egg the same way again.
Ingredients:
- 2 Eggs
- Ketchup
- Olive Rounds
Instructions:
- Cook eggs sunny-side up in a non-stick or cast iron skillet until whites are set.
- Put ketchup in a plastic bag and make a small cut in the corner. Use this to create the eye’s (yolk) veins.
- Place and olive round in the centre of the yolk to serve as the eyeball.
Spider Eggs
Hurry up and eat ’em before they crawl off the plate!
Ingredients:
- 2 Eggs
- Ketchup
- Olive Rounds
Instructions:
- Cook eggs sunny-side up in a non-stick or cast iron skillet until whites are set.
- Put ketchup in a plastic bag and make a small cut in the corner. Use this to create the spider’s legs.
- Place two olive rounds to serve as the spider’s eyes (they should be bordering the yolk and the egg white).
Mummy Toast
Get your kiddos to help decorate their mummies and let them choose their preferred condiments! Are they team ketchup or team jam?
Ingredients:
- 2 Slices Toast
- Strawberry or Raspberry Jam or Ketchup
- 2 Eggs
- Olive Rounds
- Cheese, cut into thin strips
Instructions:
- Carefully crack eggs into a non-stick or cast iron skillet. Cook until egg whites are set but the yolk is not yet hard. Use a spatula to flip and cook until desired doneness.
- While eggs are cooking, spread jam or ketchup on toast.
- Top with over-easy eggs, then layer strips of cheese across the make it look like a mummy.
- Place olive rounds at the top to serve as the eyes (one eye should be partially underneath the cheese so it’s extra creepy!).
